Go Go/ Zsu Zsu/ Zhu Zhu Pets

Hi everybody!

We have been getting a tremendous number of calls regarding the Go Go/Zsu Zsu/Zhu Zhu hamster pets. So that you know, Whistle Stop will not be carrying them this holiday season.

Cepia LLC, the company that produces the hamster line of toys, lists the following stores as distributors: WalMart, Meijers, Toys 'R Us, Shopko, Duckwall, Blains, and online at toysrus.com. Cepia recommends to continue visiting or calling these stores as new shipments should be arriving weekly. But be aware, the demand seems to still outweigh the supply so stock inventories will likely be low and will sell out quickly.

If these are an absolute MUST HAVE item for your family this holiday season, the pets can also be found on Amazon.com and eBay.com. Please be aware of the pricing and buy early- there are deals to be found, but there are also sellers that are taking advantage of the situation and charging exhorbitant prices (which will surely increase the closer we get to Christmas). Single hamsters should be priced right around $9.99.

Lionel 2009 Rebate Program

Lionel has just announced a 10% rebate program to be used with any new products offered in the 2009 vol. II catalog. The rebate coupon will be available on the Lionel website-www.lionel.com-starting Tuesday, October 20th. to take advantage of the offer, here's all you have to do:

Print the coupon from the website.

Fill out the coupon with your name and mailing address

Send in the completed coupon along with the original receipt from an authorized Lionel dealer
that identifies the product purchased and it's price to:

The coupon will apply to the over 100 new items listed in the lionel 2009 vol II catalog. (applicable products will be clearly listed on the Lionel website.)

LEGO BUILDING CONTEST

Three Age Groups

8-Under 9-12 Over 13

Bring in your favorite Lego creation on or just before Saturday, June 27, 2009

Creations should not exceed 18"x18"x18" in size.

ORIGINALITY COUNTS!!

We will display your creation in our locked showcase for one week.
During this week customers will vote for their favorite- so be sure to tell all of your friends and family!!!

Whistle Stop gift certificates valued at $25.00 each will be awarded to the best creation in each age group.

Winners will be announced on Saturday, July 4, 2009.

Whistle Stop will not be held responsible for missing pieces or damage to Lego creations while in our possession. Creations must be picked up by 7/25/09.
