Learning Curve HIRO Meet Hiro, one of the newest stars of the DVD release, "Hero of the Rails." Hiro is a Japanese engine that was brought to Sodor many years ago. At one time, he was a strong, fast engine. However, over time Hiro fell into disrepair before Thomas found him again...and he was determined to have Hiro repaired and running again.
