The Wide-Vision (sometimes called the Extended-Vision) caboose was designed so that the crews sitting in the cupola area (the top of the caboose) could see past the top of the taller train cars. This design was used and saw service on most U. S. Railroads. Bachmann Wide-Vision Cabooses come in a variety of colors and road names.
