Glencoe Models presents a set of two steam locomotives that played an important role in American development. This kit was originally released by Ideal Toy Company (ITC). Includes a model of the steam locomotive operated by the Central Pacific Railroad in the 1860s known as the C.P. Huntington, complete with its distinctive “cow catcher” mounted on the front, and a model of a steam locomotive with a 2-6-2 layout and a uniquely shaped chimney called a “cabbage stack.” A section of rail is included to display each model on when completed, too.
