Bomber, fighter, reconnaissance, night fighter-the de Havilland Mosquito did it all and did it well. This remarkable aircraft was fast, efficient and easy to produce. They excelled at roaring in, striking targets and zipping back out again before hostile fighters could hope to catch them. Most importantly, the aircraft was made out of cheap plywood and could be assembled at furniture factories all over England and Canada.
