1/48 Scale Bristol F.2B Fighter Plastic Model Kit from Revell. Skill level: 3. Parts: 168. Twin-seat terror of the First World War. For its combat debut, the Bristol F.2B had the misfortune of being flown by inexperienced pilots straight into the teeth of Richthofen’s Flying Circus. Four of the six Bristols were destroyed and a fifth heavily damaged. Later experience would prove that tactics rather than technology was at fault. Repeatedly, Bristols proved that they were fully capable of taking on single-seat fighters and winning. It was also effective in recon and bomber roles thanks to its second seat and 240 lb. bomb load. Kit features decals for two RFC aircraft.
